Sr. Symitar Systems Analyst (Symitar)

Location: Remote in the United States

Salary: $81,740.80–$140,492 per year, depending on qualifications and geographic zone. Eligible for a 0–8% corporate incentive opportunity.

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, configure, optimize, and administer Symitar production and development environments.
• Support Symitar releases, upgrades, mandates, integrations, data feeds, file transfers, and related Host Services applications.
• Design, develop, test, implement, and troubleshoot PowerOn programs and PowerFrame Docs solutions.
• Administer OpCon environments, automated processing, job scheduling, workflows, file transfers, and third-party integrations.
• Perform SQL querying and data analysis using ARCU and/or Databricks for troubleshooting, reporting, reconciliation, and operational improvement.
• Lead or support technical projects, vendor coordination, root-cause analysis, compliance activities, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• At least seven years of related information systems, core banking, or financial technology experience, including significant Jack Henry Symitar experience.
• Demonstrated experience with Symitar, PowerOn, PowerFrame Docs, SQL/ARCU and/or Databricks, OpCon, integrations, automation, production support, and troubleshooting.
• Experience leading technical projects, upgrades, hotfixes, compliance-sensitive work, vendor coordination, stakeholder communication, and competing priorities.
• English communication skills with correct spelling and grammar.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred; equivalent education, training, and experience may be considered.

Nice to have

• OnBase, PowerShell, Python, Java, JavaScript, Salesforce, Boomi Flow, Power BI, ServiceNow, JIRA, or Confluence experience.
• Credit union or financial institution experience.
• Symitar/Jack Henry, Hyland OnBase, or Continuous OpCon certifications or formal training.
• Experience with cloud migrations or IT portfolio planning.
