TL;DR
Sr. Instructional Designer (Articulate 360/e-Learning): Designing and developing classroom, virtual, self-paced, and blended training programs through job-task analysis, needs assessments, and collaboration with subject matter experts, with an accent on adult learning theory and interactive e-Learning. Focus on creating sophisticated training applications, defining learning objectives, and improving programs through evaluations, testing, and feedback.
Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States
Salary: $40–$43 per hour

What you will do
- Conduct job-task analyses and needs assessments to identify learning objectives and training solutions.
- Define individual, program-level, and module-level training objectives with stakeholders.
- Design course content using instructional design and adult learning theory.
- Create classroom, virtual, self-paced e-Learning, and blended training programs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, trainers, and e-Learning specialists to develop interactive training applications.
- Review evaluations, test results, and feedback to improve training programs.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Articulate 360.
- Experience designing and developing training programs and e-Learning content.
- Knowledge of instructional design theory and adult learning theory.
- Availability to work in Columbus, Ohio.
Nice to have
- Experience or applicable knowledge of the insurance industry.
- Experience or applicable knowledge of underwriting.
