Senior Biostatistician II (Biotechnology)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States. The role is hybrid-eligible, with remote work allowed up to two days per week, or on-site five days per week with ad hoc flexibility.

Base salary: $132,200–$198,200 per year, plus potential annual bonus and equity awards.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and execute statistical infrastructure for clinical trials, observational studies, and real-world data investigations.
• Author statistical analysis plans, including table, figure, and listing shells, and present them to the Statistical Review Forum.
• Plan and conduct cross-functional data reviews, key results memos, and data dissemination plans.
• Collaborate with statistical programmers and other functions to deliver high-quality tables, figures, and listings on schedule.
• Develop statistical sections of protocols, including sample size estimates and randomization plans.
• Contribute to clinical study reports, methodological publications, posters, and departmental technical initiatives.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics.
• Typically three years of experience with a master's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Competence with SAS and R statistical software.
• Understanding of statistical methods used in drug development.
• Strong critical-thinking, logical problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with statistical programmers, non-statisticians, and cross-functional teams.
