Senior Principal Real World Analyst (RWA)-2 (RWE)

Location: Remote for US-based candidates only; listed location: Philadelphia, PA

Salary: $151,200–$226,800 base pay annually for US-based candidates

What you will do

• Conduct and audit real-world evidence analyses using administrative claims, electronic medical records, registry data, and other real-world data sources.
• Apply advanced statistical and epidemiological methods to time-to-event, cross-sectional, and longitudinal studies.
• Clean, validate, and document data, analytical code, operational definitions, and research outputs for reproducible and auditable projects.
• Collaborate with RWA leadership and project stakeholders to deliver studies and recurring reports on schedule.
• Create reports, presentations, and dashboards that communicate complex data insights.
• Support the development and enforcement of RWA standards and operational best practices.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in data science, epidemiology, statistics, public health, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of relevant experience with an MS or 2+ years with a PhD in biopharma, RWE consulting, or a related healthcare industry.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Flatiron and Optum data, plus expertise across multiple real-world data sources.
• Expert proficiency in R and SQL.
• Experience with US and global healthcare coding systems, including ICD, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, or MedDRA, and healthcare delivery systems.
• Experience with big data platforms such as Snowflake and advanced statistical analysis for real-world evidence generation.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
