Senior Research Statistician (Immunology)

Location: Hybrid role in North Chicago, Illinois, United States

Salary: $96,500–$183,500 base pay annually

What you will do

• Contribute to the design, analysis, and reporting of clinical trials and scientific research studies.
• Support the development of study protocols, statistical analysis plans, programming specifications, and analysis datasets.
• Perform statistical analyses, simulations, data interpretation, and assessment of statistical software under supervision.
• Identify data issues and study-assumption violations, and collaborate with Data Science on database lock preparation.
• Develop strategies for data presentation and inference, ensuring accurate and internally consistent reports, tables, listings, and figures.
• Partner with Statistical Programming and cross-functional product teams, communicating statistical concepts to non-statisticians.

Requirements

• MS degree with 4+ years of experience or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in SAS, R, or Python, including independent development of statistical analyses and simulations.
• Strong understanding of statistical theory, statistical computing, simulations, and data interpretation.
• Experience supporting or conducting clinical trials, preferably in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare settings.
• Technical competence, strong written and oral communication, and the ability to identify analytical issues and develop solutions.
• Ability to build effective relationships with peers and cross-functional partners.

• Experience working in pharmaceutical companies.
