hirify.global develops and manufactures pipe preparation, joining, hanging, flow-management, and fire-protection products for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure applications.

What you will do

• Analyze work orders, blueprints, sketches, models, and part descriptions to determine materials, dimensions, layouts, and assembly sequences.
• Set up and operate milling machines, shapers, grinders, CNC equipment, and water jets to fabricate and finish parts and prototypes.
• Inspect dimensions, alignments, clearances, and tolerances to verify conformance with specifications.
• Heat-treat parts and repair cutting tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and other tool-room components.
• Examine existing tools and dies, recommend design modifications, and develop specifications or sketches for specialty tools.
• Follow workplace safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment, and report hazardous conditions.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Machine Tool & Die or a Toolmaker Journeyman’s Card.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker.
• Strong ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, models, and technical descriptions.
• Knowledge of machine systems, troubleshooting, hand tools, large-scale machines, hydraulics, welding, pneumatics, brazing, and soldering.
• Ability to apply algebra and geometry and hold tolerances as close as ±0.0002.
• Proficiency with CNC equipment, Microsoft Office, CMM systems, 3D modeling, and CAD software.
