Senior Web Software Engineer (Commercial Software)

Location: Austin, Texas, or Sunnyvale, California; hybrid attendance required at least 3 times per week. Relocation benefits are available for qualifying candidates.

Salary: $153,200–$269,200 per year, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the web frontend for commercial software products using React.
• Build and launch responsive, visually appealing, usable, and accessible functionality.
• Deliver new capabilities and products for internal and external customers.
• Maintain engineering standards, code quality, production observability, and development efficiency.
• Collaborate with product, design, architecture, and engineering stakeholders.
• Mentor early-career engineers and participate in technical deep dives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on web application development experience.
• Strong experience with React, Redux, and design systems.
• Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Ability to write thoroughly tested, documented, production-ready code.
• Knowledge of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Must be able to work from the designated U.S. location in a hybrid arrangement and must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in computer science or engineering.
