Senior Software Engineer (React/TypeScript)

Location: Remote within the United States, with residence in the Eastern Time Zone required

Salary: $145,000–$195,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Design, build, and own polished, accessible, performant user-facing features in React and TypeScript.
• Set frontend technical direction and quality standards while mentoring engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Use AI and agentic development tools such as Claude to improve engineering speed and establish AI-assisted development practices.
• Build and extend Go backend services and APIs that support frontend experiences.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to take new product experiences from inception through delivery.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps, engineering direction, documentation, and engineering culture.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with deep frontend specialization.
• Expert-level React and TypeScript skills with strong understanding of UX, performance, and accessibility.
• Professional fluency with AI and agentic coding tools, including demonstrated use of tools such as Claude.
• Leadership experience in setting technical standards, mentoring engineers, and driving technical decisions.
• Experience delivering high-quality, production-grade frontend systems at scale.
• Working proficiency in Go, or the ability to become productive with it quickly, plus proficient English for casual and formal communication.

• Experience in fintech, fraud, compliance, risk, or regulated systems.
• Exposure to data tooling or pipelines.
