Operator I (1NL) - Day & Night Shift (Extrusion)

Location: 181 Random Dr, New London, North Carolina, United States; onsite, day and night 12-hour shifts

Salary: $41,620–$48,048 USD per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Operate assigned extrusion lines at required rates, temperatures, and material percentages.
• Maintain vacuum, stuffer, and atmospheric vents, as well as extrusion cooling tanks and water additives.
• Verify board color, length, and hourly production quality against daily schedules.
• Complete administrative forms, production schedules, and reporting accurately and on time.
• Report performance or quality issues to the Process Leader or Supervisor and assist coworkers as needed.
• Follow safe work practices when operating equipment and moving products or materials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Previous machinery operator experience in a continuous production environment.
• Ability to interpret and complete production schedules and reporting forms.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including scheduled overtime, holidays, and weekends.
