Production Operator (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Operate production machinery and equipment for manufacturing, packaging, filling, and other production-line activities.
• Compound solid and liquid flavors by accurately weighing, blending, mixing, sifting, and milling materials.
• Fill finished goods and samples, apply labels, replenish inventory, and process material usage in SAP and hirify.globalMan.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and presentable processing areas and equipment while following GMP, food safety, and HACCP requirements.
• Use required PPE, including a respirator, and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Participate in cross-training, including Rototherm and extrusion operations, and support process improvements with other departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Ability to read and understand English, detailed instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to weigh small quantities accurately using a scale with 0.001-gram accuracy and apply metric weight conversions.
• Ability to wear a respirator, operate a forklift and other mechanical equipment, lift 25 kg containers, and handle 200 kg drums and 50 kg bags.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-odor, team-oriented environment and maintain a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Availability Monday through Friday for second shift, 3:30 p.m.–11:50 p.m., or third shift, 11:30 p.m.–7:50 a.m., with occasional early, late, and Saturday overtime.

• Two years of chemical process manufacturing experience, preferably in a food manufacturing plant.
