Operations Manager, Manufacturing (Day Shift)

Location: Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite day shift. Schedule: Sunday–Tuesday, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., plus every other Saturday, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

Salary: $102,061–$129,414 per year.

What you will do

• Manage materials and equipment for printing, trimming, case binding, production, and shipping of books.
• Coordinate order routing, material requisitioning, shift staffing, and quality control.
• Resolve customer complaints and rush orders with other Lightning Source departments.
• Supervise shift supervisors and associates across assigned production departments.
• Conduct evaluations, maintain attendance and time records, and recommend disciplinary measures.
• Interview applicants, approve hiring decisions, oversee training, and enforce safety and hazardous-material procedures.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent directly related experience.
• At least 3 years of management experience.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work the specified 12-hour Sunday–Tuesday schedule and every other Saturday.
