CNC Machinist 4

Location: Lawrence, Massachusetts, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

Salary: $15.28–$28.38 per hour

What you will do

• Operate CNC lathe equipment to fabricate parts to dimensional specifications.
• Load parts, cycle machines, run production lots, and identify machine or tool malfunctions.
• Machine, clean, and inspect completed work.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions.
• Document inspection results and maintain part-related paperwork.

Requirements

• 6+ years of related experience.
• Machine shop experience and comprehensive knowledge of machining operations.
• Understanding of higher mathematics used in engineering principles and related operations.
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship program.
• Good manual dexterity, coordination, communication, and ability to work in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Ability to occasionally move or position objects weighing up to 50 pounds and maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety.
