R&D Project Manager (Mechatronics)

Location: Sønderborg, Denmark; physical presence required. This is not a hybrid or remote position.

What you will do

• Lead multiple product development projects from early specification through production release or customer handover.
• Estimate project scope, budgets, timelines, and required internal resources with specialists and stakeholders.
• Plan schedules, coordinate project resources, and drive progress across different project stages.
• Manage communication and collaboration with internal functions, subcontractors, and external suppliers.
• Monitor technical solutions, risks, costs, quality, and alignment with the product roadmap.
• Support concepts related to IoT, Industry 4.0, and sustainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or an equivalent academic qualification.
• 5+ years of experience as a project manager, preferably in mechatronics.
• Strong technical understanding of electronics, software, or mechanics.
• Structured, detail-oriented, and consistent approach to project work, with solid financial insight.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders.
• High-level proficiency in Danish and English is required.
