TL;DR
Project Manager – R&D & Technology (Manufacturing): Leading product development and technology projects with international suppliers and strategic partners, with an accent on project planning, supplier-driven development, and cross-functional coordination. Focus on managing risks and dependencies, optimizing product portfolios, and driving technical improvements across manufacturing projects in Europe and Asia.
Location: Sunds, Denmark; international travel of approximately 30 days per year to suppliers and development partners in Asia.

What you will do
- Lead product development and technology projects with external suppliers and strategic partners.
- Define project plans, milestones, deliverables, and timelines while monitoring execution.
- Identify risks and dependencies and drive corrective actions.
- Coordinate activities across Product Management, Sales, Purchasing, Stock Control, Operations, and R&D.
- Support supplier and development-partner evaluation, onboarding, consolidation, and complexity-reduction initiatives.
- Drive product portfolio optimization, performance improvements, technical documentation, and compliance with development processes.
Requirements
- Experience in project management, product development, engineering, R&D, or a similar technical role.
- Experience managing projects involving external suppliers or international partners.
- Understanding of project management methodologies, product development processes, and supplier-driven development.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments, mechanical products, technical documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Technical Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluent English is required.

- Experience working with Asia-based suppliers.
