UI Design Associate

Salary: $63,360–$114,120 per year for a full-time schedule. Different ranges apply in specified U.S. locations.

What you will do

• Create UI designs for web and mobile experiences, including layouts, screens, components, and interaction states.
• Translate requirements and user insights into wireframes, visual concepts, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Design clear, accessible workflows that help customers complete tasks efficiently.
• Apply design systems and create reusable interface components, assets, and documentation.
• Collaborate with UX designers, researchers, engineers, and product teams through reviews, implementation, and feedback cycles.
• Evaluate implemented experiences, improve usability, and explore AI-enabled design tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or equivalent practical experience completed recently or expected before the start date.
• Academic, internship, volunteer, or project experience creating digital designs, visual concepts, or interactive experiences.
• Experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar design platforms.
• Ability to create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and other visual design deliverables.
• Understanding of layout, typography, colour, visual hierarchy, accessibility, and usability principles.
• Ability to organize work, manage deadlines, incorporate feedback, and collaborate on team-based projects.

Nice to have

• Portfolio demonstrating UI, visual, product, or digital project design.
• Exposure to design systems, component libraries, or accessibility standards.
• Experience with usability reviews, user feedback, responsive web and mobile design, or AI-enabled design tools.
