Senior Human Centered Design Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the continental United States. Standard business hours align with the Eastern Time Zone; occasional travel to client sites or meetings may be required.

Salary: $115,000–$140,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Apply human-centered design principles to secure, next-generation application solutions.
• Create mid-to-high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, visual designs, and interaction flows.
• Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and user-feedback analysis.
• Present design decisions and collaborate with technical leaders, stakeholders, developers, analysts, and users.
• Maintain design documentation, specifications, revision history, and reusable assets.
• Iterate on designs, manage dependencies and sprint deadlines, and improve design processes and standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional human-centered design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic or web design, human factors, human-centered design, user experience, web development, or a related IT discipline.
• Experience with UI/UX design and development, design tools, wireframing, prototyping, and graphic design.
• High proficiency in Figma and knowledge of UX/UI theory, WCAG accessibility, responsive design, and mobile-first principles.
• Basic HTML/CSS awareness and understanding of Agile ceremonies, sprints, backlog grooming, and working sessions.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; United States citizenship is required for eligibility.

Nice to have

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Proficiency with Salesforce Lightning Design System and familiarity with Salesforce page layouts and Lightning components.
