Machine Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; on-site manufacturing role

What you will do

• Operate, set up, load, diagnose, debug, and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment and automated machinery.
• Fabricate, manufacture, assemble, or move products according to drawings, routings, BOMs, specifications, and quality standards.
• Maintain and monitor machinery, perform preventive technical maintenance, and respond to equipment issues.
• Perform dimensional inspections and SPC/quality checks using calipers, gauges, tape measures, and other measuring devices.
• Complete production documentation accurately, follow standard work instructions, and meet required cycle times.
• Train colleagues, support safety and continuous-improvement activities, and rotate between workstations as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or work experience demonstrating the required competency.
• At least one year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience reading dimensional production drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of information-system databases and basic mathematics; advanced mathematics related to geometric dimensional tolerances is preferred.
• Ability to use measuring tools, perform and teach preventive maintenance, collaborate with colleagues, and adapt to changing production needs.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; overtime and varied hours may be required.
