Mill Operator (1st Shift) (Manufacturing)

Location: Western Dr, West Chicago, IL 60185, USA. Onsite first-shift role, Monday through the assigned 6:00am–2:30pm schedule.

Salary: USD 21.00–24.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Operate milling equipment safely and effectively to manufacture high-quality printing ink.
• Handle production support equipment, including press-out units, pump filter equipment, and forklifts.
• Package and label finished products in various containers.
• Clean and maintain equipment according to TPM standards.
• Participate in improvement projects and TPM activities with production teams.
• Coordinate with R&D, production management, scheduling, quality, and preventive maintenance teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or 1–3 months of related experience.
• Good mathematical and basic computer skills with strong attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and availability for the assigned shift and required overtime.
• Ability to work collaboratively with scheduling, quality, and preventive maintenance teams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required.
• Post-offer, pre-employment drug screening, physical examination, and background check required.

Nice to have

• Ink industry, mill, or pump filter experience.
• Two or more years of related manufacturing experience.
• Autonomous Maintenance experience and forklift experience.
