Machine Operator II (First Shift)

Location: Hartselle, AL, USA. Onsite first-shift work from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in an open, non-temperature-controlled warehouse.

Salary: $21.58 per hour

What you will do

• Operate industrial equipment, including saws, routers, nailers, spindles, scanners, stackers, and conveyors.
• Process lumber from raw material through finished components for wood reels used to package wire and cable.
• Make process adjustments and monitor, report, and maintain product quality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in accordance with quality and safety policies.
• Work with the production team and support other departments as needed.
• Troubleshoot production issues while handling materials and standing for extended periods.

Requirements

• At least one year of machine operating experience in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of personal hand tools and their safe use for operating, adjusting, and maintaining production equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for at least eight hours.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Reliable, committed, quality-focused, and able to troubleshoot problems independently.

• Working knowledge of 5S.
