Senior Business Analyst (Banking)

Location: Fully remote for citizens of Poland, Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania

What you will do

• Analyze and implement business and regulatory reporting requirements in a banking environment.
• Automate manual file-based processes and reduce manual reporting adjustments.
• Support ECB remediation activities and align reporting with supervisory expectations.
• Translate regulatory rules, validation logic, datasets, and statistical concepts into clear business and data requirements.
• Contribute to data warehouse and reporting solution design and process optimization.
• Coordinate business and IT stakeholders across cross-functional teams and manage requirements in Jira and Confluence.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of banking regulatory reporting, products, systems, processes, and financial data.
• Professional experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, and business process modelling.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehouse and reporting concepts.
• Knowledge of software development processes, data literacy principles, reporting rules, and validation logic.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Atlassian Jira, and Confluence.
• Fluent English, spoken and written, is required.

Nice to have

• Hands-on regulatory reporting experience.
• Knowledge of BCBS239 principles and requirements.
• Experience with ECB remediation initiatives.
• Background in finance or banking transformation projects.
