Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d)

Location: Vienna, Austria; 100% remote with two onsite working days per month

Salary: €440–€520 per day

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements with business and IT stakeholders.
• Coordinate communication between business departments, IT, and data governance teams.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Use AI-powered tools to improve requirements engineering, documentation, and business analysis.
• Design and optimize business processes focused on data and master data management.
• Support testing, data migration, and go-live preparation.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills across organizational levels.
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools for business analysis, process optimization, and documentation.
• Professional experience in financial services, such as banking, insurance, or asset management.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Experience with master data management, data governance, data quality, and data modeling.
• Experience with Informatica, SAP MDG, Stibo, Reltio, or Semarchy.
• Knowledge of BCBS 239 and GDPR compliance requirements.
• Experience in Agile and traditional project environments.
