Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Implement corrective and preventative actions using root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methods.
• Support manufacturing teams in developing procedures and work instructions aligned with ISO 9001 and other quality standards.
• Investigate customer complaints and queries, identifying root causes and driving corrective actions.
• Manage supplier quality, including supplier approval, part qualification, external component improvements, and control levels.
• Develop and execute process and internal audit plans, while communicating quality metrics across the business.
• Implement methodologies for measuring the cost of quality and use performance data to improve products and processes.

Requirements

• Degree in quality, engineering, manufacturing, or an equivalent qualification.
• Ideally, at least five years of relevant experience in a mixed-volume assembly environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills; experience with CAPA, 8D, and 5 Whys is desirable.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes in component and assembly environments, including supplier management and supply-chain improvement.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints, with basic GD&T knowledge.
• Experience using inspection and test equipment, Microsoft Office Suite, and current quality system standards such as ISO 9001.
