Software Development Engineer SDE (Basket Building Experience)

What you will do

• Design, develop, deploy, and operate high-scale, low-latency services for personalized basket-building experiences.
• Shape product direction with product managers, applied scientists, UX designers, and engineers.
• Own features end to end, from technical design and implementation through deployment and operational support.
• Build and maintain AWS-native services serving millions of customers across Europe, the US, and other worldwide marketplaces.
• Drive engineering quality through design reviews, code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with partner teams across regions and mentor more junior engineers.

Requirements

• Professional, non-internship experience in software development.
• Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling considerations.
• Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
