Software Engineer (Python)

Location: Remote from Lisbon, Portugal; Warsaw, Poland; Madrid, Spain; or Belgrade, Serbia

What you will do

• Build pipelines that publish security advisories from vulnerability assessments and released fixes.
• Automate vulnerability assessment across package, version, dependency, and ecosystem inventories.
• Integrate vulnerability scanners and connect findings with assessment, patching, and release workflows.
• Build and operate Python services, command-line tools, and internal interfaces for engineering teams.
• Clarify requirements with stakeholders, define priorities, and establish result verification.
• Improve build and deployment automation, monitor production systems, troubleshoot failures, and strengthen testing, security, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Production software development and maintenance experience with Python.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting and production-debugging skills.
• Experience designing and integrating APIs and services.
• Experience with asynchronous or distributed processing, CI/CD, containers, and build or deployment automation.
• Solid relational data modelling and SQL skills.
• Experience using AI coding agents, including reviewing and testing generated code.

Nice to have

• Experience with Django, Django REST Framework, Celery, and RabbitMQ.
• Experience building services or command-line tools in Go.
• Experience with package ecosystems, dependency metadata, or vulnerability data formats such as OSV.
