BIM/CAD Specialist - Mechanical (BIM/CAD, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD Plant 3D): Creating and coordinating accurate BIM models, installation drawings, and bills of materials for process piping and industrial construction projects with an accent on mechanical layouts, multidisciplinary coordination, and as-built documentation. Focus on integrating mechanical, civil, and electrical project features, interpreting construction documents, and supporting constructability through detailed 3D modeling workflows.
Location: Westerville, Ohio, United States; office-based role

is a large general contractor delivering heavy civil and industrial construction projects, including highways, bridges, utilities, water and wastewater facilities, and marine construction.
What you will do
- Create and maintain accurate BIM models from sketches, specifications, and contract documents.
- Prepare detailed installation drawings and bills of materials using approved drafting standards.
- Review, manage, and manipulate electronic design files.
- Update models and drawings to reflect as-built conditions.
- Coordinate mechanical, civil, and electrical disciplines in unified BIM models.
- Support project coordination and constructability efforts through effective modeling practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with BIM platforms, including Revit and Navisworks.
- Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D and/or Civil 3D.
- Understanding of pipe systems, mechanical layouts, and industrial construction processes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong 3D modeling experience in a construction or industrial environment.
- Strong communication skills, self-motivation, independence, attention to detail, and accuracy.
