Case Manager/Health Educator

Location: Victoria, Texas, United States; onsite office-based work

Salary: $19.39 per hour, negotiable based on education and experience

What you will do

• Coordinate interventions, referrals, follow-up services, and progress monitoring for students in crisis or with behavioral needs.
• Maintain confidential student records and consult with campus community members about services for students in distress.
• Collaborate with Counseling Center staff, Student Conduct, Accessibility and Accommodation, Campus Police, Residence Life, Veteran Services, and other university partners.
• Design and deliver training and health and wellbeing education covering mental, physical, and sexual health and substance abuse prevention.
• Build partnerships with campus and community agencies and communicate information about available student health resources.
• Coordinate Paw Pantry operations, distribute and track Title IX training completion, and prepare outreach materials for print, web, and social media.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Health Studies, Sociology, or a related field.
• Knowledge of health services and common mental, physical, and sexual health issues affecting college students.
• Ability to provide referrals, maintain confidentiality, assess needs, and exercise independent judgment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, analytical, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and with university and community partners.
• Employment is contingent on credential verification and completion of a criminal history investigation.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
