Focus on analyzing operational data, improving clinical workflows, coordinating resources, and facilitating communication among providers, staff, patients, insurers, and hospital departments.

Location: 100% onsite at Tufts Medical Center, 800 Washington St., Boston, MA. Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Pay range: $24.65–$30.82, based on full-time equivalent.

What you will do

  • Coordinate administrative operations, reporting, scheduling, staffing, front desk activities, payroll-related processes, revenue capture, and prior authorization support.
  • Develop and improve workflows with clinical and administrative teams to support efficient program operations and uninterrupted patient care.
  • Collect and analyze operational data and evidence-based statistics to support decisions and strategic planning.
  • Serve as a key liaison among providers, staff, patients, insurers, community services, hospital departments, and off-site programs.
  • Lead meetings, communicate policy and procedure updates, and support quality improvement and accreditation activities.
  • Assist with interviewing and onboarding new employees while reporting progress to management.

Requirements

  • Two years of administrative experience required.
  • Computer literacy, including word processing, electronic spreadsheets, and learning new applications.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, telephone, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, adapt to changing assignments, analyze information, and develop recommendations.
  • Knowledge of healthcare expenses, revenue, reimbursement models, and business planning.
  • Ability to work onsite in Boston, Massachusetts, Monday through Friday.

Nice to have

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Bilingual skills.
