What you will do
- Greet and register patients, notify medical staff of arrivals, and verify address and insurance information.
- Manage front desk operations, answer phones, retrieve and update medical records, and enter patient demographics and charges.
- Schedule referrals, specialist appointments, hospital testing, laboratory work, and follow-up visits.
- Complete prior authorizations according to insurance requirements and collect patient payments.
- Maintain and optimize provider schedules, confirm daily appointments, and support accurate patient registration systems.
- Apply diagnostic and CPT coding when required to ensure accurate patient account charging and posting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting performing similar functions preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- No certification or licensure required.
- Work location: Manchester, New Hampshire.
