Robotic Painter, 1st Shift Manufacturing Paint

Location: Dodge Center, Minnesota, United States; onsite, first shift

Salary: $22.88–$37.44 per hour, based on experience

McNeilus, an Oshkosh company, designs and manufactures refuse truck bodies, including rear-load, front-load, and automated side-load systems.

What you will do

• Monitor robotic paint and weld processes for quality and proper operation.
• Program, modify, test, calibrate, and update robotic systems for model-specific requirements.
• Investigate recurring quality defects and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and programming issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Develop, document, and maintain best-practice methods and operational records.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe, clean working environment.

Requirements

• Two or more years of experience in a heavy-duty truck or manufacturing environment, or an evaluated equivalent.
• Working knowledge of robotic programming, controls, sensors, startup, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively and prepare routine reports.
• Ability to work routine shifts, with occasional overtime, weekend work, or shift rotation.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two or more years of experience in McNeilus’s Paint or Quality department.
• Robot programming experience.
