Senior Process Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Full-time onsite in New London, North Carolina, United States

Salary: $80,000–$126,500 USD per year, plus an annual bonus or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Direct the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes for an assigned plant area.
• Design and test equipment, processes, procedures, systems, and equipment layouts.
• Install, validate, and optimize new equipment, automation, and facility upgrades.
• Develop data-driven improvements focused on OEE, safety, waste reduction, and operational performance.
• Lead root cause analysis, capital projects, standard work, 5S, and visual management initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, training, and cross-functional support across the facility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing engineering experience and 5+ years of process improvement experience.
• Knowledge and application of PDCA, SMED, Six Sigma, DMAIC, SOPs, work instructions, and process standardization.
• Experience facilitating, leading, mentoring, training, and communicating across organizational levels.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment, with strong strategic thinking and computer skills.
• Willingness to work long hours on the plant floor as needed.

Nice to have

• Composite extrusion experience.
• Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, SPC, and work-instruction implementation experience.
• Basic PLC knowledge.
• Strong project management skills.
