Fabricator – Second Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Riverside, California, United States; onsite, second shift from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Domestic travel of up to 5% is required. Relocation is not available.

Salary: $20.75–$25.40 per hour, plus a $0.75 second-shift differential.

What you will do

• Set up, program, troubleshoot, and operate automatic, turret, utility, shear, press brake, and manual presses.
• Perform bending, seating, flanging, layout, fabrication, and assembly according to work orders and production drawings.
• Create customer specialty items when required.
• Diagnose equipment and process issues and verify completed work with measuring tools and quality standards.
• Perform basic equipment cleaning and preventive maintenance while following safety and production procedures.
• Train and assist production employees with machine operation, safety practices, and fabrication techniques.

Requirements

• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical situations.
• Knowledge of production processes, raw materials, quality control, and manufacturing techniques.
• Ability to monitor machine gauges, dials, and other indicators and troubleshoot mechanical or process issues.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, time management, and ability to follow written and oral instructions independently.
• Ability to prioritize safety and work in an environment with large equipment, noise, vibration, heat or cold, and moving mechanical parts.
• Ability to stand for approximately 8–12 hours and regularly lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds with proper equipment for heavier loads.
