Machine Operator Lead (Semiconductor)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA; Federal night shift, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

Hourly pay: $23.00–$26.00

What you will do

• Set daily team goals, organize operators, and coordinate staffing to meet weekly production output.
• Operate automatic and semi-automatic manufacturing machines, including robotic assembly, wafer saw, and grind equipment.
• Set up production equipment, handle thin wafers according to guidelines, and perform first-level maintenance.
• Inspect production results against tolerances and identify defects according to workmanship requirements.
• Train operators, resolve personnel and team issues, and promote best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, management, maintenance, and other support departments.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of machine operating experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Ability to work compressed 12-hour shifts and attend possible meetings or classes outside the regular shift.
• Ability to stand for a 12-hour shift and lift up to 50 lb.
• Mechanical aptitude, visual and finger dexterity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to read component markings and polarity and interpret engineering documentation and work instructions.
