Material Handler II (Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, TX; on-site, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Pull orders from inventory and deliver materials and supplies to production work centers.
• Maintain organized stock areas, in-process inventory, loading areas, and material records.
• Prepare finished products and materials for shipment by identifying, packing, crating, loading, and securing items.
• Operate pallet jacks and other equipment to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
• Document inventory locations, units delivered, and units shipped while reporting shortages.
• Train and mentor employees and participate in continuous process improvement activities.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of material-handler experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of inventory control, data entry, and the ability to read and analyze information.
• Ability to manage multiple moderately complex tasks, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and organize materials.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and follow workplace safety regulations.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee, refugee, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations.

Nice to have

• Previous stock or inventory experience.
• Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack.
