Applications Engineering Intern (Signal Integrity)

Location: On-site in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Salary: $26–$28.50 CAD per hour

What you will do

• Test, measure, and troubleshoot high-speed signal integrity devices using BERTs, VNAs, waveform monitors, and oscilloscopes.
• Support Applications Engineers with laboratory measurements, technical support, and customer sample preparation.
• Develop and evaluate documentation for new and existing test platforms.
• Assemble and verify evaluation boards for customer use.
• Manage evaluation platform inventory and use SAP to coordinate component procurement and reservations.
• Coordinate lab bench installations, equipment procurement, vendor support, and calibration activities.

Requirements

• Knowledge of analog and digital circuit theory.
• Proficiency in soldering techniques.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with CAD tools and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience troubleshooting PCBs and systems is preferred.
