Production Associate, CCA Test (3:30 pm – 12:00 midnight)

Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; onsite production role with a 3:30 pm–12:00 midnight shift and support for shift rotations as required.

Salary: CAD 41,300–55,000 per year plus a 10% shift premium.

What you will do

• Set up, maintain, and remove automated test equipment for circuit card assemblies, graphics cards, and single-board computers.
• Perform JTAG, ATP, vibration, and ESS testing to verify electrical performance.
• Troubleshoot failures involving components, solder joints, wiring, connectors, and circuit signals, including minor repairs and rework.
• Record test results, production information, defects, and failures in the required documentation or systems.
• Provide technical feedback, suggest process improvements, and collaborate with production, quality, and test engineering teams.
• Follow drawings, diagrams, work instructions, safety and quality procedures while meeting production targets.

Requirements

• High school diploma; a college diploma in Electronics Engineering Technician/Technology is an asset.
• At least 2 years of test or ESS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Experience testing electronic products such as graphics cards, motherboards, and RTMs using electronic test equipment.
• Ability to use digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic or spectrum analyzers, and function or signal generators.
• Strong attention to detail, technical and computer skills, communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with LEAN manufacturing, SAP, technical writing, or manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or industrial training.
• Familiarity with DOS and Windows environments.
