Validation Engineering Intern (High-Speed Networking)

Salary: $26–$28.50 CAD per hour

What you will do

• Develop data acquisition suites for characterizing R&D prototypes.
• Create measurement analysis techniques and systems to verify device compliance with specifications.
• Develop software and hardware for prototype measurements.
• Design utilities that support IC verification, characterization, and engineering productivity.
• Collaborate with local and remote product development, validation, and design teams.

Requirements

• Python programming and experience automating R&D laboratory equipment.
• Hardware and software debugging skills.
• RF and high-speed digital measurement and debugging experience above 10 Gbps.
• Knowledge of optical and high-speed test equipment.
• Strong communication, organization, teamwork, leadership, and self-management skills.
• Available to start a 12–16-month internship in May 2027 in Ottawa.
