NPI Test Engineer

Location: Montreal, Canada

Salary: CAD 91,800–146,600 per year

What you will do

• Define test strategies, process flows, test sequences, test stations, and associated fixtures for new product introduction.
• Advise product development teams on design for manufacturability, design for testability, and scalability.
• Create and maintain test specifications and debugging aids.
• Develop and validate automated test sequences.
• Lead technical issue resolution and deliver training to contract manufacturing production teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve NPI efficiency and reduce time-to-market.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in NPI Test Engineering, preferably in manufacturing or production.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electronics hardware, software, manufacturing processes, assembly techniques, and quality standards.
• Programming experience with Python, C, or C#.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel.

Nice to have

• Experience with Altium development tools.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
