Electrical Supervisor

Location: PiLON_Basildon, United Kingdom; office-based management combined with regular site inspections and travel between multiple project locations.

What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate directly employed engineers and subcontractor teams across domestic and commercial projects.
• Review, verify, and approve electrical certificates, including EICRs, EICs, and fire alarm installation certificates.
• Conduct weekly site audits and monitor compliance with legislation, regulations, company procedures, and client requirements.
• Register projects with Building Control and maintain statutory, qualification, competency, and project records.
• Provide technical guidance, mentor colleagues, manage issues and complaints, and support operational teams.
• Prepare weekly updates, monthly client reports, KPI reports, and electrical performance and compliance documentation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an Electrical Supervisor.
• Strong knowledge of electrical legislation, regulations, industry standards, auditing, compliance monitoring, and certification review.
• ECS or CSCS Card.
• Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (BS 7671:2018), qualification 2382-18.
• Level 3 Inspection and Testing qualification, such as 2391, 2394/2395, or equivalent.
• Asbestos Awareness Certification and a full UK Driving Licence.

Nice to have

• Experience with EasyCert or Click certification software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, data analysis, reporting, and KPI monitoring.
