Head of People - Strategic Operations (AI)

Location: Ireland and the UK; remote and flexible working available

What you will do

• Lead the People Operations operating model across multiple regions and time zones through the Operations Lead.
• Develop scalable, consistent and commercially effective employee lifecycle services, processes and service standards.
• Transform People Operations through AI, AI agents, automation, workflow orchestration, self-service and systems integration.
• Own People data, technology, governance, workforce analytics and global employment compliance.
• Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, Solutions, Consulting, Strategy, Marketing and Shared Services on organisation design, workforce planning, retention and organisational effectiveness.
• Lead strategic People and organisational projects across People, Finance, Technology, Legal and Delivery.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading global People Operations across multiple countries and jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of employee lifecycle services, systems, policies, processes, data, governance and compliance.
• Practical experience using AI tooling, AI agents, automation and integrated workflows to redesign People Operations.
• Commercial understanding of workforce cost, revenue per head, growth, retention, workforce capacity and organisational effectiveness.
• Experience with People governance, employment compliance, audits, regulatory scrutiny and due diligence.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders, build high-performing teams and lead cross-functional transformation.

Nice to have

• Experience in professional services or consulting.
• Experience preparing for investment, mergers and acquisitions, integration, audits, due diligence or an IPO.
