Salary: $55,000–$60,000 base salary per year, plus a discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

  • Provide daily business and administrative support to two Vice Chairmen of Contemporary Art.
  • Manage calendars, meetings, agendas, presentations, correspondence, travel arrangements, itineraries, and expense reports.
  • Coordinate with global colleagues, senior staff, specialists, clients, and other Executive Assistants across international offices.
  • Manage consignments, estimates, contracts, condition reports, valuations, reserves, pickups, cataloguing, and post-sale services.
  • Support auctions through client outreach, bid registration, telephone bidding, catalogue mailing, ticket requests, and supplementary materials.
  • Assist with client relationship management, priority collections, viewings, gallery walkthroughs, and research projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; studies in art history are preferred.
  • At least 2 years of professional Executive Assistant experience or similar experience.
  • Awareness of and interest in art, the art market, and auction houses.
  • Excellent writing, communication, interpersonal, analytical, organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and long hours during marquee sales.
