Finishing Production Operator, 10pm - 6am (Manufacturing)

Location: Oak Harbor, Ohio, USA; onsite, 3rd shift from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Salary: $20/hour plus a $2/hour shift differential

What you will do

• Sort, label, inspect, and package finished goods according to customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Operate manual packaging processes and prepare cores, packaging materials, and finished rolls.
• Track multiple orders and coordinate information with shift and department personnel.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and perform 5S duties and audits.
• Support equipment maintenance, problem-solving teams, and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with slitting, rewinding, or automated packaging equipment as proficiency develops.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or at least 3 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong safety, service, quality, communication, and problem-solving focus.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, including short-notice requests.
• Proficiency with computer applications, especially MFG Pro transactional skills.
• Ability to obtain a lift truck operator’s license and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• 3–5 or more years of previous manufacturing experience.
• Mathematical, mechanical, and technical aptitude.
• Experience leading continuous improvement efforts and knowledge of ELS Operating Principles.
• Experience working independently and in team-based production environments.
