Mill/Mixer Operator - 2nd Shift (Printing Ink Manufacturing)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. Onsite, Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; overtime may be required.

What you will do

• Run ink batches using proper mill settings and follow batch addition processes.
• Operate mixers, Hockmeyer mills, press-out units, pumps, filters, canning equipment, and forklifts.
• Package finished products, apply labels, and support repacking activities.
• Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment according to TPM and scheduled maintenance standards.
• Create and maintain formula records, including processing times, and support continuous equipment effectiveness.
• Provide samples to Quality Control, make ink adjustments, and record production data.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 3 months of related work experience.
• Good math and basic computer skills, attention to detail, reliability, and punctuality.
• Ability to work the assigned second shift and overtime when required.
• Strong Autonomous Maintenance background and ability to participate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and complete post-offer drug screening, physical examination, and background check.

Nice to have

• Forklift experience; training is available.
• Experience with mixing, mills, pump filters, or the ink industry.
