Folder Machine Operator (Pharmaceutical Packaging)

Location: Oberlin, Ohio, United States. Full-time onsite role on second or third shift; training is completed on first shift.

Salary: $19.50–$21.00 per hour, plus a third-shift differential.

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, and operate small-format folding equipment.
• Operate automatic bindery machines, including cutters, collators, gatherers, folders, and speed binders.
• Produce pharmaceutical inserts and outserts according to strict quality standards.
• Perform fine mechanical adjustments and coordinate multiple machine stations.
• Inspect equipment for safety, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor quality, output, and productivity.

Requirements

• No prior experience is necessary; training is provided.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to set up and adjust machines for finishing operations.
• Knowledge of paper stock characteristics and bindery machine operation is helpful but not required.
