Production Group Leader I Bridge and Laser Ablation - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead production teams responsible for high-quality output, customer requirements, and continuous improvement.
• Manage direct reports, including time tracking, recordkeeping, training, development, performance, and disciplinary actions.
• Promote team safety, remove barriers, and foster a positive, professional working environment.
• Apply lean manufacturing practices, including 5S and the identification of the eight forms of waste.
• Support equipment and process development, optimization, corrective actions, and root-cause analysis using methods such as 5 Whys and 8D.
• Plan production, monitor departmental KPIs, coordinate with other departments, and support manufacturing readiness for new products and processes.

Requirements

• Two- to four-year degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Ability to communicate company policies and objectives and work effectively with different audiences.
• Ability to coach, mentor, develop employees, and handle employee relations matters.
• Ability to use conceptual, analytical, and diagnostic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; work authorization is checked through E-Verify.
