Production Operator - Drill - 4th Shift - 90 Day Increase Eligible (PCB Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Set up and operate drill equipment and other machinery according to job requirements and department processes.
• Read shop travelers, manufacturing work orders, customer specifications, blueprints, and shop control documents.
• Measure parts with micrometers and calipers, select appropriate drills, load machine programs, and operate multiple machines when permitted.
• Monitor product quality, inspect first pieces using X-ray equipment, and troubleshoot process issues with the supervisor.
• Communicate with supervisors and managers, participate in meetings, suggest procedural improvements, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Handle hazardous waste, report accidents and safety concerns, use required PPE, and follow JSA, MSDS, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Must work onsite in Stafford, Connecticut, United States.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English well enough to follow manufacturing instructions, specifications, and safety documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail, mathematical and technical aptitude, manual dexterity, and general computer skills.
• Ability to sit or stand throughout the shift and independently push, pull, or lift 10–40 pounds.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with machinery, moving parts, noise, and chemicals; willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed.

Nice to have

• Blueprint-reading experience.
• Willingness to cross-train in other departments and learn additional machinery.
