Process Engineer (Optical Manufacturing)

Location: Pathumthani, Thailand (Navanakorn); onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Provide technical and sustaining engineering support for manufacturing operations.
• Recommend and implement equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiency, manufacturing techniques, yield, and cost.
• Develop and conduct Design of Experiments and Statistical Process Control analyses to identify causes of yield loss and quality issues.
• Collaborate with product design, R&D, PLM, field applications, test, quality, supply chain, finance, planning, manufacturing, and contract manufacturing teams.
• Coordinate engineering changes and related tasks from new product introduction through mass production.
• Support problem solving, bone-pile reduction, and continuous yield improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience, including experience with electronics or optical products.
• Experience with optical alignment processes, especially die bonding, wire bonding, lid sealing, and leak testing, is preferred.
• Knowledge of common electronic and optical components, terminology, and operation.
• Strong data analysis, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Thai are required.
