TL;DR
Principal Product Manager, Pharmacy Technology Modernization and Special Projects (Pharmacy Technology/Healthcare): Modernizing pharmacy technology by translating operational, compliance, and customer needs into scalable product requirements, roadmaps, and delivery plans with an accent on patient-level data structures, regulatory alignment, and cross-functional execution. Focus on analyzing product performance, managing legacy-system transitions, defining acceptance criteria, and improving pharmacy operations and patient experiences.

Location: Onsite in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $110,000–$220,000 per year

What you will do

  • Define product requirements for pharmacy technology modernization, translating business, operational, and compliance needs into functional specifications.
  • Coordinate the transition from legacy transaction-based workflows to modular, patient-level data structures with engineering, data, and clinical stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, feature backlogs, and delivery plans across pharmacy technology initiatives.
  • Analyze product performance, user feedback, customer journeys, and workflows to identify gaps and prioritize enhancements.
  • Facilitate cross-functional delivery, manage dependencies, clarify requirements, and ensure solutions meet acceptance criteria and business objectives.
  • Align pharmacy technology solutions with healthcare regulations, internal controls, and data privacy requirements.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field plus 2 years of product management or related experience; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with evaluative research, surveys, competitive analysis, synthesis techniques, and quantitative data analysis.
  • Experience with agile development methods including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Knowledge of APIs, system integration, SDLC, product roadmaps, acceptance criteria, backlog management, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with project management, business analysis, cost-benefit analysis, ROI calculations, vendor contracts, SOWs, and MSAs.
  • Experience using tools such as Miro, Tableau, Google Analytics, Figma, Jira, Confluence, and DocuSign.
