Senior Software Engineer (Java)

Location: Onsite in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $90,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Analyze and scope business and technical requirements, identify solution gaps and risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Create user stories and contribute to solution and detailed design for application components and modules.
• Develop and configure Java-based applications and enterprise integrations for cloud infrastructure.
• Build CI/CD, testing, and process automation scripts while implementing telemetry and security requirements.
• Design and execute component and end-to-end test cases, including Selenium automation using Java.
• Track defects, perform regression and root cause analysis, and troubleshoot performance and availability bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering or related experience; any amount of experience with the required skills will be accepted.
• Experience developing applications with Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with Selenium automation scripts, CI/CD pipelines, end-to-end automation, and enterprise application integrations.
• Experience with REST Web Services, batch processes, Jetty, Hibernate, Guice Dependency Injection, Spring, Java Mail, and Webservices.
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle 10g, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, JavaScript, XML, Core Java, JAXB, J2EE, and the Order Manager System domain.
