Software Engineer Sr Lead (Java)

What you will do

• Design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements.
• Develop core versions of software applications for fintech products.
• Work with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications.
• Participate in software design meetings and determine technical requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, client training, client relationship, and sales teams.
• Contribute as a cross-functional member of an Agile Scrum team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Java/J2EE, Struts or Spring, Hibernate, EJB, Oracle, REST APIs, Docker, Maven, and Git.
• Experience in the banking or payments domain.
• Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards.
• Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations, and operations.
• Proficiency in solution design, requirements definition, sequence diagrams, and class models.

Nice to have

• Experience with Enterprise Payments and Open Payments Framework.
