Chief Information Officer (Mid-Market) - Orlando

Location: Orlando, Florida metro; onsite or hybrid with at least 3 days in the office. Local or relocating candidates only.

Salary: $195,000–$260,000 annual base salary plus a 20–30% performance bonus.

What you will do

• Own enterprise IT strategy, roadmap, operating and capital budgets, and executive reporting to the CEO, CFO, and board.
• Lead IT organizations covering infrastructure, business applications, service desk, security, and data, typically with 15–80 employees and managed service partners.
• Own ERP, CRM, and HRIS platforms, including systems such as NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Salesforce, Workday, UKG, and ADP.
• Lead major transformation programs such as ERP replacement, cloud migration, and post-acquisition systems integration.
• Oversee Microsoft 365, Azure or AWS, Intune, ServiceNow or Jira Service Management, and multi-site infrastructure operations.
• Own cyber risk, data and reporting foundations, AI and automation adoption, vendor strategy, MSP relationships, and contract negotiations.

Requirements

• 12+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years leading IT leaders and managers of managers.
• Current or recent experience as a CIO, VP of IT, or Head of IT in a mid-market company with approximately 200–2,000 employees.
• Direct ownership of an IT budget and vendor portfolio, plus experience leading an ERP implementation, replacement, or comparable enterprise-wide systems program.
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and Intune, plus at least one major ERP and CRM.
• Experience with security frameworks or audits such as SOC 2, NIST CSF, HIPAA, or CMMC.
• Must be able to work onsite or hybrid in the Orlando metro and be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Experience in a private-equity-backed, acquisitive, or multi-site environment.
